Robert W. Huston, Chairman
Bob Huston is a real estate attorney and partner in the Los Angeles office of the Southern California based law firm Booth, Mitchel & Strange LLP. Prior to becoming Chairman in 2003, Huston served on the board for six years.

Bob Huston's practice focuses on real estate and construction contracts, in addition to general business litigation. He joined Booth, Mitchel & Strange LLP in 1993 after graduating with a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego. Huston received his BBA in finance from the University of Notre Dame.

An active community leader, Huston serves on the board of a number of organizations including the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Council of Los Angeles and Family Rosary/Family Theater Productions, and the St. Francis High School Alumni Council. He also serves on the board of the Southern California Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and is the chairman of their annual “Hook The Cure” fishing and golf tournament.
Bruce A. Choate, President & CEO
Bruce A. Choate is President and Chief Executive Officer of Watson Land Company, and a member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Choate joined Watson Land Company in 1991.

Choate brings Watson Land Company extensive experience in the real estate industry. Prior to entering the development side of the business, he held various senior management positions with national banking and mortgage companies. He left the capital sector to become Chief Financial Officer of a regional real estate developer, the position he subsequently held at Watson prior to being named President and CEO.

Choate is a current member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, Urban Land Institute and IOPC Council, the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council and the Presidents Council of the Real Estate Roundtable. He is also on the Board of Directors of AvalonBay Communities, Standard Pacific Homes, the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation, and he is a Charter Member of the Southern California Leadership Council.

Choate is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles.

Kirk R. Johnson, Executive Vice President
Kirk Johnson is Executive Vice President responsible for directing Asset Management, Marketing, Leasing, Planning and Construction of Watson’s 15,000,000 square foot portfolio. Mr. Johnson joined Watson Land Company in 1997.

Johnson brings extensive commercial brokerage experience. From 1985 to 1997, he was employed at CB Richard Ellis as an industrial real estate broker specializing in sales, leasing, and investments. He provides Watson and its customers with a knowledgeable professional who understands the real estate needs and requirements of expanding industries, major companies and the commercial brokerage community.

He is a past President of the Southern California National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) Chapter, a member of the NAIOP advisory council, Urban Land Institute, and IOPC Council, Board of Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Carson, and a member of the Society of Industrial & Office Realtors (SIOR).

Johnson is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Lance Ryan, Vice President, Marketing and Leasing
Lance Ryan has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Ryan heads up the Marketing and Leasing department for the company’s multi-million square-foot portfolio of industrial, distribution and warehouse buildings.

Ryan earned a professional designation as a "Global Logistics Specialist" through California State University, Long Beach in partnership with the Port of Long Beach. The coursework has given him unique insight into the logistics and transportation industry as it relates to local ports in Long Beach and Los Angeles and more importantly, as these factors relate to Watson’s existing and potential customers facility needs.

Ryan is on the board of directors for NAIOP Los Angeles/Orange County chapter and the South Bay Economic Development Partnership, as well as a member of the AIR Commercial Real Estate Association. He graduated with distinction from San Diego State University with a degree in real estate finance and communication.

Jeffrey Jennison, Vice President, Asset Management
Jeff Jennison is responsible for managing Watson's entire portfolio of industrial and office space.

With numerous years in the commercial real estate industry under his belt, Jennison has extensive experience in portfolio management, new construction, building systems, project transition and start-up, tenant retention programs, emergency building procedures and inspections, management plans and budgeting requirements.

Jennison holds a California Real Estate Salespersons license and is working to become a Certified Property Manager® with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Additionally, he is actively involved with IREM, the Building Owners Management Association (BOMA) and the Big Brother program of Orange County.

Jennison is a graduate of the University of Southern California.

Christopher Trujillo, Vice President, Construction
Chris Trujillo oversees new construction in Watson’s multi-million square-foot portfolio. He brings years worth of construction experience in buildings ranging from industrial, commercial high-rise, R&D, health care, institutional, sports complex, entertainment, high tech, retail, and has extensive knowledge in tilt-up construction.

Trujillo is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Throughout his career in the building industry, he has been active in community service, volunteering his time and construction knowledge to several non-profit institutions, schools, and community events. Trujillo currently serves as a construction consultant for various schools.

He attended California Polytechnic State University, Pomona.

Craig Halverson, Vice President, Acquisitions
Craig Halverson directs the company's strategic portfolio expansion program. In this capacity, he identifies and secures real estate acquisition opportunities for Watson Land Company throughout Southern California.

With extensive industrial real estate experience in Southern California, Halverson has considerable acquisition and development knowledge. He has worked extensively in all major submarkets within the Southern California region with particular emphasis in the South Bay and Inland Empire.

Halverson is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Inland Empire Chapter.

Halverson is a graduate of the University of Southern California.

Roger von Ting, Chief Financial Officer
Roger von Ting manages lender relationships, procures insurance and handles all financial reporting, accounting and tax matters for Watson Land Company. Mr. von Ting joined the company's finance department in 1994 and previously served in the roles of Assistant Controller and Controller.  Prior to Watson Land Company, Mr. von Ting was employed by the public accounting firm KPMG Peat Marwick.

A graduate of the University of California, Davis, Mr. von Ting is a certified public accountant and serves on the Board of the Boys & Girls Club of Carson.

Bradley Frazier, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary
Prior to joining the company in 1993, Bradley Frazier was a partner at Cox, Castle & Nicholson. He has authored numerous articles on real estate law, and has published articles in the California Real Property Journal and CEB Real Property Law Reporter.

Frazier has also instructed a number of seminars on real estate topics including "Negotiating and Drafting Commercial Real Estate Leases" for the Institute for International Research. He has served on the Executive Committee of the State Bar's Real Property Section and was a Vice-Chairman of the Section in 1994 and 1995.

He also maintains an active role in the community, serving as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Carson since 1994, and serving as a Member of the Advisory Board of the California Business Properties Association since 1995.

Frazier graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Washington. He is a graduate of UCLA School of Law and was admitted to the California Bar in 1981. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, State Bar of California.

Pilar Hoyos, Vice President, Public Affairs
Pilar M. Hoyos, V.P. Public Affairs, Watson Land Company, serves the Company and its customers as an advocate and liaison to government and the communities in which the Company has its real estate holdings.

A 30-year public affairs veteran, Hoyos is actively engaged on key issues which affect the area’s competitiveness for business retention and attraction. She serves on a number of boards, including the California Taxpayers Association; CalChamber Advocacy Council; LAEDC Land Use Committee; the LA Chamber Land Use, Housing and Transportation Committee; Carson-Dominguez Employers Alliance; and for a number of years served as Chair of the Workforce Investment Network, an organization charged with regional job training and placement programs.

Hoyos is a graduate of USC and a resident of the City of Los Angeles.
